What is blackjack and why is it so popular?
Blackjack is one of the world's oldest strategy-based card games. It does not rely entirely on luck — the right strategy, patience and decision-making skill play a major role. The main goal is to beat the dealer without going over 21.
At ft88 you get the feel of a real casino with a live dealer, where every round is streamed live. As long as you have an internet connection, you can play anytime, anywhere.
Blackjack is growing in popularity among players in Bangladesh because it offers the chance to use your head. Compared to many other casino games, a player's decisions here have a direct impact on the outcome.
How is Blackjack played?
Card Deal
At the start of each round the dealer gives every player two cards. The dealer also receives two cards — one face up and one face down.
Basic RuleCard Values
Cards from 2 to 10 are worth their face value. J, Q and K are worth 10. An Ace is worth 1 or 11 — whichever benefits you.
Card RulesHit or Stand
You decide whether to take another card. "Hit" means take another card; "Stand" means stop. Going over 21 is an immediate loss.
GameplaySplit
If you receive two cards of the same value, you can split them and play two separate hands. This can double your chances of winning.
Special ActionDouble Down
You can double your bet and receive exactly one more card. On a strong hand, this can bring a big win.
StrategyBlackjack Win
Getting an Ace and a 10-value card as your first two cards is a "Blackjack" — the highest win. The payout is typically 3:2.
